PARTICIPANT RECRUITMENT

Have you experienced trauma during adult life?

If you are 18 years or older and have had a minimum of 15 therapy sessions during which you talked about your trauma, this study may be for you.

STUDY AIMS

Better understand how adults who experienced trauma make meaning of their experiences through therapy.

 

Inform both therapists and researchers in their work to improve therapies for adults who experienced trauma.

DETAILS

Participants will be invited to take part in an online interview of approximately 60 minutes to speak about their experiences of therapy and what kind of meaning they made.

If you are interested and would like to find out more

YOUR CRITERIA

  • 18 years or older,
  • 15 therapy sessions ore more,
  • Therapy addressed the trauma,
  • Not currently in therapy,
  • Therapy ended no longer than 5 years ago,
  • Your mental health has improved since you had therapy.

OTHER

Participation is voluntary and confidential. All data will be anonymised and personal data protected.

This study has been reviewed and received ethical approval by the DPsych Research Ethics Panel, Regent's University London.
